Rajya Sabha MP Dr K Laxman from the BJP has criticized the physical attack on BJP candidate Kuna Srisailam Goud by Quthbullapur MLA KP Vivekanand. Laxman stated that the BRS party is resorting to violence because they are afraid of losing locally and in the state. He condemned the attack, stating that it is inhumane and not good for democracy.
Laxman expressed his concern over the continuous attacks by ruling party leaders. He questioned how the BRS candidate could attack while the media was present. Laxman also mentioned that it has become a routine for TRS leaders and legislators to attack others without providing any answers. He demanded that cases be filed against the local legislator and his followers and that they be arrested.
