Hyderabad: The BJP has set up a new three-member team to help pick candidates for the upcoming by-election in the Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency.
State BJP president N Ramchander Rao announced the committee members, who include M Dharma Rao, a former MLA; Pothaganti Ramulu, a former MP; and Komala Anjaneyulu, a senior BJP leader and lawyer. Their job is to gather feedback from party leaders and local supporters to find the best person for this important urban seat.
Jubilee Hills is known for its mixed voter population and is politically important. The BJP hopes to strengthen its election plans by forming this advisory group, aiming for a strong internal agreement. The committee will start discussions right away. Insiders believe the party will announce their candidate soon as they gear up for the election.
In addition, the BJP’s state leaders will meet on Sunday, led by Ramachender Rao, to discuss their strategy for the Jubilee Hills by-election and upcoming local elections. This meeting will focus on campaign plans, organizing efforts, and working together to boost the party’s standing in key areas across Telangana.
