Khammam: In Bonakal, BJP members, led by Mandal President Talluuri Mounika, protested against negative comments allegedly made by INDIA bloc leaders about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mother. This incident occurred during a rally in Bihar attended by Rahul Gandhi. The BJP called for a public apology from Rahul Gandhi and demanded legal action against those responsible.
During the demonstration, protesters tried to burn a Congress party effigy. Police intervened, resulting in arrests. BJP state leader Galla Satyanarayana criticized the remarks, labeling them disrespectful to women and indicative of the Congress mindset.
