Gadwal: A special event called the “Gaav Chalo – Basti Chalo” program was held today in Gadwal town’s 19th ward, covering booth numbers 252 and 253. This program was part of a state-level campaign and took place under the guidance of BJP National Vice President and Palamuru MP, Smt. D.K. Aruna. The event was led by Shakti Kendra In-charge Shyam Rao, with BJP District President Tapala Ram Anjaneyulu attending as the chief guest.
The day began with a booth committee meeting in Radhakrishna Ward. After the meeting, a rally was held where BJP workers marched through the ward carrying party flags. The purpose of the rally was to inform people about the achievements and work done by the BJP.
Following the rally, a Swachh Bharat (Clean India) drive was conducted near the Ayyappa Temple in the Housing Board area. Party workers cleaned the surroundings as part of the nationwide cleanliness initiative.
Later, BJP leaders and workers visited nearby areas, including Vishwakarma and Mudira colonies. They spoke with residents and met with beneficiaries of the Ujjwala Yojana, a scheme that provides free gas connections to women from low-income families.
Senior BJP workers were honored during the event for their service and dedication to the party. Several key leaders who took part in the program included K. Raghavender Rao, Somishetti Ravi, Venkat Ram Reddy, Chinnayya Naidu, Sridhar, Gosai Venu, Mahesh Kumar, Ranjith Kumar, Suresh, Jagadeesh, Raghavendra, Praveen, Prabhakar, Chandu, and Pawan.
This event showed BJP’s efforts to connect with people at the grassroots level and to raise awareness about their programs and policies.
