Top BJP leaders met Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan in Andhra Pradesh to talk about how they will split seats for the upcoming elections. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, BJP national vice-president Baijayant Panda, and JSP president Pawan Kalyan visited TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu at his home in Undavalli. Other TDP and JSP members were also present at the meeting.
Last week, the three parties said they would figure out the number of seats they each get soon. Before meeting Naidu, Shekhawat and Panda met with Pawan Kalyan. Sources say the BJP might get six Lok Sabha seats and six Assembly constituencies in the alliance. TDP wants specific Parliament seats, while JSP is expected to focus on certain Assembly seats.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak at the ‘Pradhan Mantri Su-Raj’ program virtually for all 26 districts of Andhra Pradesh. He will chat with people who benefit from Central Government programs during this event. Although there were rumors that the Prime Minister would join a TDP-JSP rally on March 17, this has not been confirmed yet.
