BJP receives six Lok Sabha and 10 Assembly seats in agreement with TDP and JSP

In Vijayawada, the TDP, BJP, and JSP have agreed on an alliance for the upcoming elections. TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu announced that the TDP will contest 17 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh, while the BJP will contest six seats and the JSP will contest two.

In the Assembly elections, TDP will contest 144 seats, while the BJP and JSP will contest 10 and 21 seats respectively. The alliance was finalized after a meeting at Naidu’s residence with Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, BJP vice-president Baijayant Panda, and JSP president Pawan Kalyan.

Other members present at the meeting included TDP State president Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, TDP MLAs A Satya Prasad and Gottipati Ravi Kumar, and JSP political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar.
