The event was presided over by BJP’s new Bhadrachalam Mandal President, Mutyala Srinivas. During the gathering, BJP District President KV Ranga Kiran attended as the chief guest and addressed the attendees. He highlighted the positive reception of the budget across the country, particularly the tax exemption of up to ₹12 lakhs for middle-class businessmen and employees. He said this move has brought happiness to many people nationwide.

Ranga Kiran also took the opportunity to strongly criticize comments made by former Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi against the President of India, Draupadi Murmu. He condemned their remarks, describing them as disrespectful and insulting to the tribal community. He pointed out that Sonia Gandhi allegedly referred to Draupadi Murmu as “a poor lady,” and Rahul Gandhi called her “a boring piece of cake.”

He stressed that the President, as the first citizen of India, deserves respect from everyone, regardless of political affiliation. Ranga Kiran urged all citizens to uphold this responsibility and avoid making inappropriate comments about such a significant figure.
