Khammam: On Sunday, Bharatiya Janata Party Khammam District President Nelluri Koteswara Rao spoke at a ‘Vikasit Bharat’ event in Nelakondapalli mandal. He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for guiding the country’s rapid development. Nelluri highlighted how the government’s decisions are gaining global recognition.
He specifically pointed out India's success in the space sector, mentioning ISRO's world record of launching 104 satellites with one rocket. He also praised the Direct Benefit Transfer system, which has directly transferred ₹744 lakh crore to beneficiaries through Digital India. This approach has eliminated middlemen and saved about ₹23 lakh crore from misuse.
The government is also supporting farmers by raising the minimum support prices for crops and increasing purchases, especially for turmeric and pulses. Additionally, the country has expanded its connectivity, with 5G services now available in 99.6% of districts.
Other BJP leaders, including Nunna Ravikumar, N Praveen Kumar, Ravinder, Upender, and Subbarao, attended the event.
