Hyderabad: Malkajgiri MP Eatala Rajender on Friday challenged Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy over the Congress party's role in the ongoing Kashmir issue. Rajender questioned if the Congress contributed to the problem by granting Kashmir partial independence even after 75 years of India’s freedom.
Rajender criticized Reddy’s speech at the Jai Hind rally. He asked if Indira Gandhi had taken back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir during the war, would India face its current situation? The BJP MP praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for revoking Article 370, making Kashmir fully part of India.
He accused the Congress of insincere talk on national security, likening their words to hollow chants. Such statements, he argued, harm the morale of Indian soldiers.
Rajender also accused CM Revanth Reddy of hypocrisy. He claimed the Chief Minister praises Modi in Delhi but criticizes him locally, while his ministers commend the Centre’s work. This behavior, he said, reveals the true nature of CM Revanth Reddy.
