Hyderabad: Dr. K Laxman, a BJP Rajya Sabha member and the National President of OBC Morcha, criticized Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his remarks on Operation Sindoor.
On Friday, Dr. Laxman addressed Reddy’s claim that Pakistan destroyed India’s Rafale fighter jets. Reddy questioned the number of jets lost.
Dr. Laxman said it is wrong to speak negatively about the Indian Army. Such statements lower the morale of the defense forces and damage the nation’s reputation. He accused Congress leaders of using their anger against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP to target the Indian Army and the country.
He urged the public and political figures to notice these comments and react properly. Dr. Laxman demanded that Congress leaders clarify their stance, which seems to favor Pakistan.
In addition, Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, the BJP co-in-charge for Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, denounced Chief Minister Reddy’s comments on Operation Sindoor. He claimed that Reddy and other Congress leaders often make negative remarks about national security for political gain. He called it outrageous that Congress would make such statements while an all-party MP delegation abroad is highlighting the success of Operation Sindoor and Pakistan’s wrongdoings. He insisted that Congress should apologize immediately.
