The BJP Central Election Committee surprised everyone by announcing the second list for the Telangana Assembly elections with only one contestant. The party’s high command has chosen AP Mithun Reddy as the candidate from Mahbubnagar assembly constituency. Mithun Reddy is the son of BJP senior leader AP Jitendar Reddy.
Last week, the BJP had already announced 52 candidates in the first list. The party’s high command has been holding meetings with Telangana BJP leaders to finalize the third list, which is expected to be announced in the next day or two.
