Hyderabad: The BJP’s Tribal Morcha plans a major initiative to strengthen its presence and promote awareness of central government schemes in tribal regions across Telangana.
A meeting held at the state BJP office, led by Dr. Kalyan Naik, the Morcha’s State President, set out important strategies. These include forming committees quickly and organizing special programs throughout June.
BJP Organisation Secretary Chandrashekar and State General Secretary Kasam Venkateshwarlu attended the meeting, emphasizing the need to strengthen the organization. They provided guidelines for fast creation of booth-level committees across Telangana, encouraging active involvement from Morcha workers.
In 55 Assembly areas with more than 7% tribal population, “1+2” committees (comprising one booth in-charge and two assistants) will be set up in at least 25 selected tribal villages or settlements.
From June 5 to 30, various events will be held. These include tree planting on Environment Day (June 5), Yoga camps on International Yoga Day (June 21) at district centers, and democracy awareness activities on Emergency Day (June 25). An extensive campaign will also promote the advantages of central government schemes during the 11th year of Narendra Modi's leadership. The Morcha is committed to advocating for tribal rights and addressing government shortcomings through ongoing efforts.
