A blood donation camp was held at Government General Hospital in Nagarkurnool by Mala Employees Welfare Association and the district branch of Samata Sainik Dal. The event took place on Saturday.

District Medical and Health Officer Sudhakar Lal mentioned that the camp coincided with the 133rd birth anniversary of Babasaheb Dr BR Ambedkar. He emphasized the importance of donating blood to help those in need, especially since there was a shortage of blood at the government blood bank in the district. This shortage was causing difficulties for patients in critical conditions, including pregnant women requiring surgical treatment.

Lal highlighted the significance of community service through blood donation. He urged people to come forward and donate blood to support those in need. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of donating blood and helping save lives in the community.
