    In a gruesome incident that took place on Tuesday night, an unidentified person murdered a woman and disposed her body after packing it in a plastic bag at Pahadishareef on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The locals noticed a decomposed body dumped near the Hardware Park at Tukkuguda-Srisailam highway and alerted the police. The body was found under the limits of Pahadi Shareef Police Station of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.

    According to the police, the woman was suspected to have been strangled using a towel and then killed. The suspects disposed of the body at an isolated place in the Hyderabad outskirts. ACP Maheshwaram, C Anjaiah stated that “the woman might have been killed three days ago as the body was highly decomposed. Special teams are formed to identify the woman and track down the murderers.”

    The police are trying to identify the victim based on the missing complaints received in and around the city. They have taken up the investigation after registering a case. The incident has sent shock waves across the city, and people are demanding swift action from the police.
