K.T. Rama Rao, the working president of the BRS party, confidently stated that the upcoming elections will prove Gujarat’s arrogance wrong and Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao will win 90 constituencies. KTR emphasized that the BRS will showcase its track record to the people during the past nine and a half years. He also criticized the Congress party for being unable to find candidates for even 40 constituencies and mocked their dream of coming to power with support from neighboring states like Karnataka.

KTR pointed out that the Congress is in a pathetic situation and doesn’t even have candidates to contest in the 24 Assembly constituencies under the GHMC. He revealed that the party is asking candidates to buy tickets by paying a staggering Rs 15 crore, citing an incident involving a candidate who wanted a party ticket for the Kukatpally constituency. KTR compared Telangana to a bride and urged people to remember how Chief Minister KCR had developed the state.

Referring to NITI Ayog reports, KTR highlighted that Telangana is a top-ranking state in terms of per capita and power index, among other sectors. He challenged the BJP and Congress to show a single state that is doing better than Telangana. KTR described Telangana as a groomed bride and criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for leveling allegations of corruption against non-BJP ruled states during his campaigns. He also criticized Union Home Minister Amit Shah for providing false statistics about farmers’ suicides in Telangana.

In reference to the survey results predicting Congress coming to power, KTR dismissed them by stating that the same organizations had predicted doom for the BRS in 2018. When asked about the dissatisfaction expressed by the “Pink Brigade” (Women) towards the ruling party, KTR assured that the manifesto to be released by Chief Minister KCR soon will address their grievances and change their opinion about the party.
