Kisan Congress National Vice President Kodanda Reddy accused BJP and BRS parties of irresponsibly discussing the drought issue. He said they are trying to gain sympathy from farmers by blaming the Congress party for the current drought situation.

Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, Kodanda Reddy criticized the BRS party for misleading people by falsely claiming that the Congress party caused the drought. He mentioned that many states are facing drought, but BRS leaders are blaming Congress to get votes in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

He dismissed a death list of farmers sent by the BRS party to the Chief Secretary as false, noting that it included names of people who died in road accidents.
