The recent election results in Delhi have sparked a heated political debate between the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and the Congress Party in Telangana. K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), a key BRS leader, took to social media to sarcastically congratulate Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He claimed that Rahul’s actions against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had actually helped the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) win in Delhi.

Former minister Harish Rao also criticized Rahul Gandhi and Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy. He blamed them for Congress’s poor performance in Haryana, Maharashtra, and now Delhi. Harish warned that if Congress fails to fulfill its six guarantees and 420 promises, the party could face similar defeats in future elections.

Responding to these remarks, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar accused KTR of being happier about BJP’s win than Congress’s loss. He suggested that KTR secretly supports the BJP, hoping to have legal cases against him dropped. Ponnam also alleged that the BRS had worked with the BJP while in power and questioned why the party, which once aimed for national leadership, had now disappeared from the political forefront.

As the debate continues, politics in Telangana remains tense, with leaders from both BRS and Congress exchanging sharp criticisms following the Delhi election results.
