The BRSV state president, Gellu Srinivas Yadav, accused Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of discriminating against Gurukula schools. He claimed that students were taking their own lives and that the education department had not been reviewed by the Chief Minister. Srinivas Yadav expressed concern over the lack of oversight from the Chief Minister, despite having control over all welfare departments.

Srinivas Yadav also criticized the quality of meals being served in Gurukula schools, stating that they were of poor quality. He mentioned that private educational institutions like Sri Chaitanya and Narayana had increased their fees significantly, putting a financial strain on students.
