Hyderabad: Pilot Rohit Reddy, a leader from the BRS, firmly dismissed rumors on Friday about him joining the BJP. He clarified that these rumors were spread by some TV channels and social media platforms to distract people from the Congress party’s unfulfilled pre-election promises.
Rohit Reddy urged his constituency’s residents to ignore these social media rumors. He stated, “The false news about me on social media and TV is misleading. They claim I sent Guvvala Bala Raju and will send other MLAs. These are baseless stories,” he emphasized, calling the rumors absurd. He assured the people of the Tandur constituency and the BRS members that they should not believe these unfounded allegations.
Reddy revealed that he was previously offered lucrative contracts and high positions to switch parties. However, he remained with the BRS, focusing on the welfare of Tandur and Telangana. He attributed Telangana’s progress to KCR. “In the past, I exposed those who approached me on behalf of the BJP. My dedication is to serve Tandur until my last breath. Only the BRS can advance Telangana. I am committed to working as a loyal supporter of KCR and KTR,” Reddy declared.
Reddy criticized certain media channels, accusing them of acting as tools for other parties by spreading false information. He urged these channels to focus on stories that highlight promises made to the people. He mentioned that the BRS is preparing for local body elections, confidently stating, “The BRS flag will triumph in all seats in the upcoming local body elections.”
