Hyderabad will witness grand festivities for Sri Krishna Janmashtami on August 16 at the ISKCON CDEC event in Tellapur. The celebration will take place at PMG Farmhouse, transformed with Vrindavan-themed decorations. This event marks the 5252nd appearance of Lord Krishna, and 5,252 offerings will be presented. Devotees are invited to bring sattvik bhoga offerings and will receive maha prasadam in exchange.
The event kicks off at 2 p.m. with children’s competitions in singing, dancing, coloring, fancy dress, and shloka recitation. Cultural performances are scheduled for 5:30 p.m., followed by katha and kirtan at 8 p.m. The Maha Abhishek will happen at 9 p.m., with special darshan starting at 10 p.m. At midnight, all attendees will enjoy maha prasadam.
