BRS Pebbair Mandal Head in Wanaparthy Faces Legal Charges

In a recent incident in Wanaparthy, Ramulu, the Mandal President of Pebbair Mandal BRS Party, is in trouble for breaking election rules during a gathering in Pathapalli village on October 10. The gathering near the Chintala Hanuman temple had about 2,000 people, including Telangana State Agriculture Minister Niranjan Reddy who spoke during the last ten minutes.

After the event, a complaint was filed by BP Prasad, in charge of Flying Squad Team 1, under the instructions of the Returning Officer, on October 13. The complaint claimed that Ramulu organized the meeting against election rules. As a result, a case was registered against Ramulu at Peebbair Police Station.

Ramulu, who is the Pebbair BRS party Mandal president and represents the public in Atty Sabha, has been charged with several sections of the law, including Section 171-B, r/w 171-E IPC, Section 26 of the Telangana District Police Act, and Section 3 r/w 7 of the Religious Institutions (Prevention of Misuse Act) 1988.
