Tribal leader Meda Vijay Kumar has applied to contest for the Wyra Assembly seat for the YSRTP in Hyderabad. This comes after YSRTP State president, YS Sharmila, announced that the party would compete in all Assembly seats. All interested candidates were instructed to submit their applications at the party headquarters in Hyderabad. Meda Kumar’s application was received by Linga Reddy, the State party office in charge.
After submitting his application, Meda expressed his frustration with the BRS government for failing to provide welfare to Tribal people. He pointed out that the BRS party did not give tickets to Erukula caste leaders in the 12 ST reserved constituencies. Meda expressed his trust in Sharmila, believing that she would bring justice to their caste.
