BRS leader M Krishank wrote a letter to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy asking him not to allow adulterated liquor in Telangana State. On May 21, minister Jupally Krishna Rao denied proposals for new liquor companies in the state, threatening a defamation suit against anyone who reported otherwise. However, BRS party exposed that permissions were granted to Som Distilleries on May 27.
