BRS welcomes Anand Rai, renowned RTI activist from Madhya Pradesh

Anand Rai, a well-known RTI activist from Madhya Pradesh, joined the ruling BRS party on Wednesday in Hyderabad. He was offered a pink scarf by BRS national president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as a welcoming gesture. Rai is also a social activist who fights for tribal rights and has strong support from the prominent tribal rights organisation Jai Adivasi Yuvashakti Sangathan (JAYS), of which he is a key leader.

JAYS president Lal Singh Burman, Pancham Bheel, Ashwin Dube, Gaziram Badole, Kailash Rana, and others also joined the BRS party with Rai. JAYS has declared their support for the BRS party and its efforts towards the welfare and development of SCs, STs, BCs, and minorities in the state. JAYS founder Vikram Achalia said that KCR’s leadership has brought a humanitarian view to the development programs in the state, and they are extending full support to him for bringing a qualitative change across the country.

According to Achalia, the aspirations of the poor, backward classes, dalits, and adivasis have not been fulfilled in the 75 years of independent India. However, KCR is creating confidence across the country that he will fulfill the aspirations of people.
