A private bus overturned in a farmland near Vemulapally village early Saturday morning. The accident happened because the driver fell asleep while driving.

The bus, owned by Chandu Travels, left Chirala in Andhra Pradesh at 9:30 PM on Friday. It was carrying 45 passengers to Hyderabad. As it reached Gangamma Gutta near Vemulapally, the driver became drowsy and lost control of the vehicle. The bus then veered off the road and overturned in nearby fields.

Luckily, no one was seriously injured. The driver, cleaner, and passengers suffered only minor injuries. Sub-Inspector D. Venkateshwarlu quickly arranged for other buses to help the passengers reach their destinations safely.
