Hyderabad: BRS MLA P Rohit Reddy, who is running for candidature in Tandur, met with his rival Patnam Mahender Reddy to seek his support in the upcoming elections. Rohit Reddy and his followers went to Mahender Reddy’s house and presented him with a shawl and garland.
During the 2018 elections, Rohit Reddy defeated Mahender Reddy while he was still a member of the Congress party. However, later on, Rohit Reddy joined BRS and since then, there has been ongoing conflict between the two leaders in the constituency. Both leaders have filed complaints against each other with their respective party leadership.
However, after Rohit Reddy’s name was announced as a candidate and Mahender Reddy was promised a place in the cabinet, it seems that both leaders have put aside their rivalry.
