A woman from Jagtial had a shocking experience when she found a centipede in the idli she had brought home for breakfast. The incident took place at Ganesh Bhavan Udupi Hotel, where she had purchased the food.

As she began eating the idli at home, she spotted what appeared to be a centipede, locally called a “jerri.” Horrified, she immediately returned to the hotel to complain about the situation.

When she confronted the hotel staff, they responded carelessly. The management claimed that it wasn’t a centipede, but just a piece of thread. This response angered the woman even more.

In protest, she stood outside the hotel, demanding accountability. The situation escalated when the hotel staff tried to dispose of the idlis in a municipal tractor, but the woman stopped them.

She further explained that during the argument, the hotel owner tried to prove it was not a centipede by tasting the idli. However, when he spat it out, he had no choice but to admit it was indeed a centipede. The woman, furious, expressed concern about what could have happened if her children had eaten the contaminated food.

The woman demanded strict action against the hotel. After being informed, the local municipal staff took action and shut down the hotel.
