    Telangana State Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj stated that the code of conduct for the Lok Sabha elections is now in effect throughout the state. People with more than 50,000 cash need to show proof and documents.

    Even during the wedding season, Vikas Raj made it clear that there will be no leniency in enforcing the election code of conduct for marriages. He advised those making wedding purchases to have proof of cash and documents as the Election Commission cannot make exceptions for wedding transactions.

    Vikas Raj also emphasized the importance of carrying proper documentation and proof for individuals using a lot of cash to buy wedding attire, gold, and other items. He mentioned that the election code of conduct will be in place in the state until the vote-counting process is finished.
