Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are doing well in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, with 10 points from seven matches, and are at the top of the points table. They have won both home and away matches against the best teams. However, their only loss at home was against Rajasthan Royals (RR), and they are seeking payback in their rematch in Jaipur.

RR has lost two successive matches against Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore, and their momentum is not good. Their bowling is strong, but their batting needs improvement, especially in terms of their mental make-up when chasing a target. On the other hand, CSK has a strong batting line-up with Ruturaj Gaikwad, Devon Conway, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube, Ravindra Jadeja, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Their bowling has also improved significantly.
