    Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to stay alert and take action to minimize damage from continuous rain in Hyderabad and other districts.

    He emphasized the need for precautions based on the IMD‘s forecast of heavy rainfall. The CM instructed all departments, including GHMC, Police, HYDRA, Traffic, and Electricity, to be on standby 24/7 and work together.

    Officials must urgently address waterlogged roads, traffic issues, and power failures. They should implement solutions to prevent flooding in low-lying areas and reduce public inconvenience.

    The CM urged residents in heavily affected areas to stay cautious. He also asked Chief Secretary K Ramakrishna Rao to regularly monitor flood conditions in districts, including Greater Hyderabad.
