Chief Minister updates Governor on state’s security steps

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met with Governor Jishnu Dev Varma to share the latest updates on the state’s security situation. His visit came after rising tensions between India and Pakistan raised concerns across the region.

The Chief Minister assured the Governor that Telangana is fully prepared for any emergency, including medical crises. He highlighted the government’s efforts to ensure public safety and support citizens during this tense period.

A key part of the plan includes a new 24/7 control room at Telangana Bhavan in New Delhi. This center will help people from Telangana, especially students and workers, return home safely from border areas if needed.

Revanth Reddy also outlined the steps taken to strengthen security in Hyderabad and other major parts of the state. The government has stocked up on essential medicines and emergency supplies to handle any urgent situations.

In addition, the Chief Minister reviewed the strict protection measures in place for the ongoing Miss World competition, currently being hosted in the city. Officials are working to ensure the event runs smoothly without any disruptions.

During the meeting, Reddy also spoke about the state’s financial situation. He explained how the government is dealing with economic challenges and working on long-term solutions to improve the financial health of Telangana.
