Chikoti Praveen, a casino operator, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Hyderabad. He was welcomed into the party by DK Aruna, the party’s national vice-president, and former MLC Ramachandra Rao at the Barkatpura BJP city office.
Earlier, there were reports that Chikoti Praveen planned to join the BJP after getting permission from the state party leadership, but it did not happen.
Despite the political uproar and signs indicating his entry into politics, the event where Chikoti Praveen was supposed to join the BJP on September 12 did not take place because Telangana BJP Chief and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, along with other senior BJP leaders, were not available at the office.
During the event, Praveen expressed his admiration for the BJP’s clear vision and strong leadership, which motivated him to join. He also mentioned his belief in the party’s principles and ideology and pledged to work towards the welfare of the people of Telangana. Praveen expressed confidence in the party’s ability to bring positive changes to the state and promised to contribute his best to its growth and development. He concluded by expressing his excitement about being part of the BJP and his eagerness to collaborate with other party members to achieve their goals.
