Christmas Celebrations Bring Joy Across Jogulamba Gadwal District

Christmas was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Jogulamba Gadwal district. Various community leaders, political parties, and organizations came together to mark the occasion, spreading the message of love, peace, and harmony.

In the district headquarters, former MLA and AICC Secretary Dr. S. A. Sampath Kumar led Christmas celebrations at the residence of former Zilla Parishad Chairperson Sarita Tirupataiah. Congress leaders gathered to cut a Christmas cake and exchange festive greetings. Dr. Sampath Kumar spoke about the teachings of Jesus Christ, emphasizing the values of love, compassion, and brotherhood as essential for societal progress. Prominent Congress leaders like Youth Congress district president Tirumal and senior leaders Shankar, Venkatesh, and Sreenu also attended the event.

MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy visited churches in Belgara and Macharla villages, where he participated in special prayers. He cut a cake and shared Christmas greetings, highlighting the message of peace and harmony taught by Jesus Christ. The MLA expressed his gratitude for the blessings of the community and prayed for the prosperity of farmers, traders, and citizens across Telangana.

BRS leader Basu Hanumanthu Naidu joined Christmas prayers in several villages. He celebrated by cutting cakes alongside Christian brothers and sisters and praised former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for promoting inclusive celebrations of all faiths in Telangana. Naidu stressed the importance of harmony and prayed for the well-being and prosperity of the district.

In Ieeja town’s SC Colony, Mee Seva Bhaskar distributed sarees, essential supplies, and financial assistance to underprivileged families. This act of kindness reflected the teaching of Jesus Christ to help those in need. Bhaskar shared his joy in serving the community during the festive season.

Meanwhile, youth from Kakulavaram village brought Christmas cheer to the students of the school for the visually impaired in Gadwal. They organized meals and accommodations for the students, embodying the true spirit of giving during the holiday season.

The celebrations across the district showcased unity and the shared values of love, compassion, and generosity.
