MLA Releases Irrigation Water for Yasangi Crop in Mahabubnagar
Devarakadra MLA G Madhusudhan Reddy (GMR) officially started the release of irrigation water for Yasangi (Rabi) crops on Wednesday. The water is being supplied through the right and left canals of the Koilsagar project in Devarakadra Mandal.
Speaking during the event, GMR explained that the water release will happen in five phases to support farmers under the Koilsagar project this Yasangi season. He announced that the first phase of water release has now begun. The event was attended by irrigation officials, key Congress leaders, and several party workers.
After the ceremony, the MLA visited Nagayyapally village. He met senior Congress leader Narsireddy and his family to offer condolences following the recent passing of Narsireddy’s wife, Lakshmidevamma.
