The BhagyanagarKawadSeva Sangh organized the 26th Paidal Kawad Yatra in Hyderabad. The yatra started from Hari Bhawan, Charkaman and ended at the 400 year old Shivalay Mandir in Alwal. Many devotees joined the yatra.
The procession went through different parts of the city, such as Begum Bazar, Koti, and Bogulkunta. It made a stop at CVR Garden, Old Alwal. The event was organized by the BhagyanagarKawadSeva Sangh Hyderabad and Secunderabad President, Mangiram Tayal.
The Kawad Yatra is a pilgrimage dedicated to Lord Shiva. Devotees travel to Hindu pilgrimage places like Haridwar, Gaumukh, and Gangotri in Uttarakhand to get holy waters from the Ganga River, known as Ganga Jal. They later offer this water at local Shiva temples.
