    The Chief Minister of Hyderabad has promised to buy all the damaged paddy caused by recent rains from local farmers. He wants to ensure that farmers aren’t worried about their crops. The Chief Minister has directed the Agriculture Department to find ways to finish harvesting before March and educate farmers on how to do this. In a meeting, officials explained the problems caused by the rain. The Chief Minister advised farmers to take this as a lesson and plan in advance for future seasons. He also asked farmers to delay harvesting for a few days if there is a rain alert. Finally, the Agriculture Department was instructed to conduct more studies on farming techniques and educate farmers on fertilizer use.
