Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of Hyderabad is determined to make Telangana a ‘drug-free’ State. The government plans to create special teams to stop the trafficking of Ganja and narcotics from neighboring States.

In a high-level review on drug trafficking, the Chief Minister made key decisions. He stressed the need to crack down on cannabis and other drugs, urging officials to conduct special drives in suspected areas and keep a close watch in border districts.

Revanth Reddy also emphasized that even celebrities would face punishment if caught with drugs. He suggested forming anti-drug teams and rewarding those who work effectively to eradicate drugs.

The Chief Minister wants Telangana to be known as a drug-free State, where people are afraid to even mention the word ‘drug.’
