Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met with State CPI leaders to discuss their alliance’s chances in the upcoming Local Body elections.
State CPI secretary John Wesly, along with MLA K Sambasiva Rao and other party leaders, visited the Chief Minister at his residence on Monday. They talked about the Congress’s strategy to win most local bodies by maintaining their partnership with the CPI, which had supported them in the Assembly elections.
The meeting focused on the joint efforts in the local polls and the potential success of the Congress-CPI alliance, according to the leaders. CPI representatives also highlighted various public issues, such as those faced by Gram Panchayat workers, Anganwadi workers, and the RTC, to the Chief Minister. He promised that the government would address these concerns.
