    Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for various development projects worth Rs 192 crore during his visit to the Edupayala Vana Durga Bhavani temple in Nagasanpalli village, Papannapet mandal, Medak district, on Wednesday.

    The proposed development works include the construction of roads connecting tribal villages in the Medak constituency, which will cost Rs 52.76 crore. Additionally, a Young India Integrated Residential School complex and an Indira Mahila Shakti Bhavan, costing Rs five crore, will be constructed.

    Plans also include road widening, the construction of a divider, and the installation of high-mast lights at Edupayala, with a budget of Rs 35 crore. Furthermore, the Chief Minister handed over a bank linkage cheque worth Rs 100 crore to Self Help Group (SHG) women in the Medak district.

    During his visit, the Chief Minister offered silk robes to the deity and performed special pujas at the temple. Medak MP M Raghunandan Rao joined him in the prayers. Several prominent leaders, including Ministers Konda Surekha, Damodar Raja Narasimha, and Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy; MP Suresh Shetkar; TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud; and local MLAs, were also present at the event.
