Hyderabad: The State government is planning to start a new event called ‘Praja Vijayotsavalu’ at LB Stadium on November 14. This event will be held to celebrate Children’s Day and the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
State Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari said that Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy will officially begin the event. Around 14,000 students are expected to join the opening ceremony at the stadium.
Santhi Kumari explained that the government has been working hard to improve the education system. Some of the steps taken include increasing money for student meals, building better school facilities, setting up integrated residential schools, and providing free electricity to government schools.
She also mentioned that the celebration will last for 26 days, from November 14 to December 9, to mark the one-year anniversary of the Chief Minister’s time in office. The Chief Minister has asked for the event to be celebrated in a grand way all over the State.
During the event, students will take part in a Model Assembly and perform cultural programs. There will also be a presentation showing the progress made in the education sector. The Chief Minister will unveil a special souvenir created for the Education Department. Students from every district will participate.
To make sure the event is comfortable for everyone, organizers are arranging umbrellas, continuous power supply, and other facilities for the students. There will also be a special stage for cultural performances.
