    Chief Minister Revanth Reddy Meets AICC Chief to Discuss Key Issues

    New Delhi: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met with AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge on Tuesday to discuss several matters concerning Telangana. During the meeting, he reportedly informed the party leadership about the state government’s decision to reject a Rs 100 crore CSR offer from the Adani Group for the Young India Skill University in Telangana. He also briefed them on the investments and agreements made with the Adani Group by the previous BRS government.

    Revanth Reddy reiterated his statements from a recent press conference in Hyderabad. He explained that the state government would seek legal advice regarding the agreements signed with the Adani Group during the BRS regime. This step is being considered to avoid any potential legal or financial complications. The Chief Minister clarified that his government welcomes new industries in Telangana, provided they comply with the state’s policies and regulations.

    In addition to his meeting with Mallikarjun Kharge, Revanth Reddy also met Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi. He congratulated her on the Congress party’s landslide victory in the Wayanad byelection.

    Revanth Reddy had traveled to Delhi on Monday to attend the wedding of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s daughter. During this visit, sources confirm that he did not discuss any matters related to cabinet expansion with the party’s high command.
