BRS leaders in Hyderabad demanded immediate action from Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy regarding the drought conditions in the State and agriculture. They suggested using Kaleshwaram water to save farmers’ crops. Former MLA G Kishore and MLA G Jagadish Reddy spoke at a press conference at Telangana Bhavan.

Jagadish Reddy questioned if the government had reviewed irrigation water or estimated crop yields. He emphasized the potential of using Kaleshwaram water to prevent crops from drying up. The BRS leader criticized the CM for focusing on money matters in Delhi instead of addressing State issues.

The BRS leader urged CM Revanth to prioritize the people’s problems and take action. Jagadish Reddy also criticized Congress leaders for not working with the Congress government in Karnataka to release water for drought-stricken farmers in Telangana.
