A fire broke out at a coaching institute in Mukherjee Nagar, northwest Delhi. Students tried to escape the fire by breaking windows, climbing down ropes, and using ladders. The Delhi Fire Service received a call about the fire at 12.27 pm and sent 11 fire tenders to the scene. According to the Fire Service Director, Atul Garg, 10-12 students incurred minor injuries while climbing down ropes in panic. However, all students were rescued and safe. The fire department shared a video showing firemen rescuing students through windows, while students climbed down from the top floor of the building using ropes. The cause of the fire appears to be a meter board on the fourth floor of the building. The building has ground plus four floors.
