City Congress president Komatireddy Narender Reddy visited the cable bridge in Karimnagar on Friday. He also noticed cracks in the side walls, which were being covered up by officials. Reddy criticized the ruling party for attempting to hide the corruption by blocking the road and deploying police.
Reddy pointed out previous instances of poor quality construction, such as the washed away Manair river front check dams and footpath tiles being washed away in rainwater. He also mentioned a large scale scam in the development of intersections. Reddy held Kamalakar responsible for these issues.
