    BJP MLA Eatala Rajender criticized the State government for their lack of preparedness in dealing with flooding in Warangal city. He blamed the BRS leaders for not taking measures to prevent flooding in the colonies. Eatala mentioned that the encroachments on drains were not removed despite promises made by the MA&UD Minister K T Rama Rao. Many colonies were severely affected by the floods, causing significant damage to homes and essential items.

    Eatala demanded compensation of Rs 25,000 for each household and Rs 2 lakh for each store affected by the floods. He also called for an ex-gratia amount of Rs 10 lakh to be given to the families of those who lost their lives in the floods. Additionally, he urged the government to assess the loss of crops and cattle during the floods.

    Eatala criticized the BRS leaders for not allowing Opposition party leaders to support those staying in rehabilitation centers. He announced that the BJP would provide 25 kgs of rice and an ex-gratia amount of Rs 50,000 to the flood-affected residents of Moranchapalli village. He also called out Chief Minister KCR for failing to address the ground reality in the State and urged the government to properly utilize funds given by the Centre for the Smart Cities Mission.

    Eatala, along with other BJP leaders, inspected the flood-ravaged areas of Naim Nagar, Paluvelpula, and other colonies in Hanumakonda.
