Nagarkurnool: Revenue Department Principal Secretary, CCLA Naveen Mittal, has called for the urgent resolution of pending Dharani applications. On Saturday, he held a video conference with district collectors, additional collectors, RDOs, and Tahsildars to discuss the issue. Mittal instructed that these pending applications be reviewed on a daily basis.

During the video conference, District Collector Badavath Santosh informed Mittal that the applications pending in the collector and additional collector logins would be resolved within the next week. Following the meeting, Collector Santosh directed district officials to speed up the processing of Dharani applications. He specifically instructed RDOs to resolve the applications pending in their logins immediately.

Collector Santosh emphasized that no applicant’s issue should remain unresolved. He stated that the proceeding order for each resolved application should be uploaded online. If an application is rejected, the reasons for rejection must be clearly noted in the remarks section. He also mentioned the need for a special login to open applications online and upload necessary reports for their resolution. Succession and pending mutation applications and records should also be addressed promptly.

The review of pending applications should be done mandal-wise, with special attention to those mandals that have a high number of pending applications. A one-week deadline was set to review all pending applications and bring the number down to zero. Additional Collector Seetharama Rao, RDOs, Tahsildars, and other revenue officials participated in the meeting.
