    On Saturday, Vijayalakshmi, the in-charge of the Nagar Kurnool SHE Team, conducted an awareness session at Zilla Parishad High School in Gudipalli village, Nagar Kurnool Mandal.

    During the session, Vijayalakshmi explained the T Safe app. She encouraged girls and women to download and use this app while traveling. She pointed out that women and girls are often harassed by people they know, so they should stay cautious and remain brave.

    Vijayalakshmi assured everyone that any information about harassment should be reported to the SHE Team. She promised that the issues would be resolved discreetly, without anyone else knowing. She guaranteed that the informants’ details would be kept confidential, and the offenders would be dealt with accordingly.

    She warned that the police would not tolerate any antisocial activities involving students and that legal action would be taken against such individuals. Vijayalakshmi mentioned that the SHE Team operates at major junctions, crossroads, and Mandal district centers.

    In an emergency, she urged victims to call 100 or 8712657676 to report the details. She also provided information on using social media safely, the services of the Bharosa Center, and the POCSO Act.

    The program was attended by headmaster Kurmaiah, teachers, SHE Team member Venkataiah, Bharosa coordinator Srilatha, and others.
