Collector ensures tight security for election materials

In Mulugu, the District Election Officer and Collector Ila Tripathi stated that tight security measures have been put in place to protect the election materials stored at the district Collectorate. The EVMs and election papers from Mahbubabad of Mulugu Assembly constituency were returned on Tuesday night after the counting process. The Collector checked and sealed these items in the EVM godown at the Collectorate for safekeeping.

The Collector assured that the election materials will be closely monitored and kept securely for 45 days, until the end of the election petition period. Various officials, including Collectorate AO Rajkumar, election officials, and representatives from different political parties were present during this process.
