Karimnagar: Duddilla Sridhar Babu, the State IT and Community Affairs Minister, played a crucial role in the victory of Peddapalli Congress parliamentary candidate Gaddam Vamsi Krishna. Sridhar Babu, who is also an AICC secretary, was in charge of the Peddapalli parliamentary constituency in the Lok Sabha elections.
He gathered the MLAs of the seven Assembly constituencies under the Lok Sabha for a meeting to strategize and unite them. Sridhar Babu also secured support from Singareni workers and trade unions affiliated with Congress. He resolved differences among party leaders and brought them together for the cause.
The Congress party assured support in various constituencies by addressing local issues through their candidate Vamsi Krishna. Sridhar Babu was appointed as co-in-charge in the Warangal SC reserved constituency to improve coordination among leaders.
Despite initial doubts of a BJP victory, Congress candidate Kavya won with a significant majority in the Warangal Lok Sabha constituency. Sridhar Babu, who has been elected to the Assembly five times, demonstrated his influence by winning with a large majority in Manthani.
In the Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party secured a substantial victory margin in both Peddapalli and Warangal constituencies, defying expectations of a BJP wave. The success of Sridhar Babu in these elections has been widely recognized.
