In Mulugu, Dr. Allem Appiah, the District Medical Officer, stated that all children should receive vaccinations to protect them from diseases. About 15 children were vaccinated at three primary health sub-centers. It is also the responsibility of the Health department staff to register pregnant women and care for breastfed children after delivery.

As the rainy season approaches, ANMs have been advised to take precautions to prevent the spread of seasonal diseases. Laborers digging a well in the road were given ORS packets and instructed to mix one packet in one liter of water to drink.

Those involved in the vaccination program included Dr. Shravan Kumar, staff nurse Munni, ANM Allam Sulochana, Allam Sujata, and Ashalu.
